I literally fell in love with the groom and his groomsmen’s attire and I am a great fan of those deep purple touches—well, I’m not really the pastel kind of girl. The wedding took place on October, 3, 2014, in Hycroft Vancouver. Here’s the story of the couple:
We met in culinary school 3 years ago. Ian as a chef, and savannah as a pastry chef. Our first project together was about Bacon, which really launched our love for food and each other. We got engaged one year ago in Disney, florida, he proposed in front of the magic castle as the last firework went off at the end of the evening. We live in Vancouver together and own a cat, Donatello. We plan to open a bakery/café one day.
Name one thing you regret…
I wouldn’t have made my own invitations. I sent months getting everything together and making every part from scratch, including the save the dates, which were magnets. It was so time consuming, they were beautiful but I would have preferred a little more free time.
… And one thing you’re really happy you did.
Getting a wedding coordinator. No matter the size of your wedding or the style, having someone to take care of all the little details so you can enjoy the big day is so important. It takes all the weight off of your shoulders, just make sure its someone you trust and who shares your style.
