On Rock N’Roll Bride‘s page, we can read: Don’t let the wedding industry define your day – let you define your day, to which I’d like to add that wedding industry now includes wedding blogs. By the time you see some new cool trend on wedding blogs, then maybe we’ll all wanna throw it up the next year. Sorry if I disappoint you, but—just to pick an example—candy bars are kind of the “new traditional”. I’m not saying don’t do anything you see on blogs, or anywhere else; I’m saying make sure it corresponds to you, and still will looking back at your pictures 10 years from now.
I was touched by this wedding for all these reasons. Plus, it teaches that a wedding doesn’t necessarily need a lot of details to have personnality. Ligia e Marcelo, parabéns para um casamento que não vai sair de moda! Photography credit: The Kreulichs.

The wedding took place at Confeitaria Colombo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Name one thing you regret…
Having decided to not have someone making a video of the day. I think it would have been complementary to the photographs I got.

… And one thing you’re really happy about / proud of
We were satisfied to have only our closest friends and family there to share the day. It was a really small and intimate wedding, in a “sunday lunch” spririt.

Ligia and Marcelo’s wedding day was also the day Ligia’s cousin turned 40. They prepared a surprise on their wedding day to celebrate her anniversary. Isn’t that sweet?
