It’s time for you to know: my sister’s getting married!! It’s gonna be this year, I get to organize it, and you’ll get to see it. How cool is that?

Actually, that’s a funny story, but I may be the reason they’re actually getting married. I remember this conversation we had on the phone some months ago.

Me – Hey, are you guys still thinking about getting married? Because, well, you know I’m kind of nuts with all wedding related stuff, and now I have the blog… I may actually have some ideas that I’d like to share with someone…

Let me set the context: my sister is the mother of two cute little girls, and she and Arnaud have been together for over 10 years.

Her – Yeah.. I don’t know, we’re sure gonna marry some day… But wait, wait, are you saying you would take care of the organisation?

Me – Well, I wouldn’t like to interfere into your project, but I sure could help you out with concept and decoration.

Her – You know what, we think weddings are cool, but we are so not the kind of persons that like to spend months planning a wedding. This may even be the reason we haven’t got married yet. We have to think about it.

Then, two weeks later, she called me back. 

Her – Hey, remember you said you would organize our wedding?

Me – Yes…

Her – We’re doing it!

No need to say I am over-excited about that. And actually (she swore she wouldn’t, but) so is my sister! The invitations arrived in our mailbox last week; they are Paul Holland‘s work, a graphic artist, friend of my sister & brother in law. He’s usually totally not designing invitations (sorry, not an address), but he accepted to do the job this one time. Everything is planned, now we’re just counting on no rain. Fingers crossed…
